LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Terms of Service & Civic Charter

Governed under Article 19(1)(c) of the Constitution of India & Indian Contract Act 1872

1. Freedom of Peaceful Association

Sangathan provides communication, documentation, and coordination software to empower peaceful citizen assemblies and collectives. Users warrant that all campaigns, petitions, and spot audits conform to non-violent, constitutional methods in pursuit of public welfare, environmental protection, and civic rights.

2. No Fabrication of Signatures or Evidence

Organizers strictly agree never to inject fabricated signatures, bot-generated names, or fake sensor telemetry into the platform. Any collective found deliberately manipulating public records will have their verification revoked immediately.

3. Statutory Disclaimers

While Sangathan formats petitions citing relevant statutory frameworks (e.g. Air Act 1981, Water Act 1974, RTI Act 2005), the platform does not provide formal legal advocacy in court. Collectives submit statutory notices and RTI applications under their own citizen standing.

4. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any statutory disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi.
