1. Core Philosophy: Zero Commercial Telemetry

Sangathan Space ("Platform") is operated under non-profit civic covenants incubated with the Bahujan Queer Foundation (Delhi Reg. Section 8 NGO). We do not monetize personal data, do not display commercial advertising, and do not provide data feeds to electoral consulting agencies, credit bureaus, or commercial brokers.

2. What Data We Collect & Why

We collect only the bare minimum data necessary to verify genuine resident participation and prevent signature fraud:

Signatures on Petitions: Your name, general neighbourhood/ward, and optionally verified email or phone number.
Spot Sensor Audits: Geotagged coordinates and sensor telemetry (PM2.5, Water TDS). Sensor observations are public domain citizen science.
Complaint Receiving Records: Municipal diary numbers and timestamps to calculate the statutory 30-day RTI window.

3. Complete Data Sovereignty & 1-Click Export

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), you retain the unassailable right to access, rectify, and permanently delete your data. Collective administrators can export their complete database in CSV or JSON format at any moment.
